Lianchih Lake Zuoying Working Station is located at the left side of Lianchih Lake , the address is 813 No. 176, Liantan Rd. , Zuoying District, Kaohsiung City , and it is the office for Kaohsiung Irrigation Association Zuoying District. Moreover, this station has a sub-mention-Caogong Water Resources Developing Foundation. The function is channel dredging, control irrigation, reallocation, and management. The irrigation control area is east from Zhuwei, Renwu, Kaohsiung County , west to Lianchih Lake Zuoying and south from upper reach of Love River , north to Houjin River total 411.50 hectare.

In the Ch'ing Dynasty, our ancestors from Tangshan had used water in Lianchih Lake that from raining. Therefore, in winter, the water shortage season in south of Taiwan , our ancestors drew the water from Gaoping river via Caogong Canal . And the water in Lianchih Lake would never be shortage. Once next year of spring was a water shortage season, the water could irrigate the fileds of Zuoying and Aozidi.

There is one station manager takes the responsibility for whole station business and 5 employees take care for water control, management, illegal case's disposal, and collection of fee, etc.
