Pei-Lin Wu, a teacher, was born in the Nan-Ao Village of Yi-Lan County. She is an outstanding member of the Atayal community in her work of developing Atayal songs and dance. She is currently teaching at Da-Tong Elementary School . She strives to expand the Atayal culture in terms of songs and dance performance styles. She hopes to present an accurate portrayal of the original Atayal way of life through songs and dance. She wishes that the Atayal people of the current “e-generation” may, through the traditional heritage of Atayal life, experience the hardships of their ancestors, and learn to value the resources they have today.
