Types of Traditional Atayal Dance

The dance types were classified more recently for the sake of convenience. The Atayal people of the past did not have such classifications. The following eight dances are performed in accordance with certain events, such as the wedding dance, and some basic dances for harvesting. The common Atayal dance styles are listed here:
