Migration and development

¡@The majority of the villagers of Jin-Yue Village are from an ancient group known as ¡§Ryohen¡¨. In 1958 because of the remoteness of the village being 30 kilometers away from the town of Nan-Ao, under government's policy and guidance, the community was moved down to the villages of Wu-Ta, Han-Xi with most people going to Jin-Yue. This explains why Ryohen was called ¡§old Jin-Yue.¡¨ Jin-Yue Village is also the home to some habitants who migrated from Lu-Pi whose last name is ¡§Tsai¡¨ although presently not often heard in the village. The Han Chinese people refer to the ¡§Lu-Pi¡¨ people in Nan-Ao as associated the village Jin-Yue.
