Now most aboriginals wear traditional clothes only in festivals. They never miss any chance to dress up. So the traditional clothes of Paiwan people would never disappear. It might even find its way to combine with modern clothes and create some famous brands!.

Brief introduction:
¡@¡@ It can be deduced from Aunt Liu¡¦s aboriginal name ¡§Rusrus¡¨ that she belongs to the chief¡¦s family and enjoys high status in the tribe. It also means she could enjoy privileges in clothes, which are exclusively for noblemen. Though she possesses many clothes and accessories since her birth, she wants to make special traditional clothes by herself. With aesthetic sensitivity and years of experience, now she has established herself as the most famous master of handicraft in clothing. Everyone in Beiyeh Village is proud of having clothes made by her. Those in other villages are craving for her works. Due to her age, now Aunt Liu¡¦s eyesight is poor. But she is still trying her best to make clothes on the old sewing machine bought with government subsidy.

¡@¡@Following the traditional style of Paiwan clothes, Aunt Liu¡¦s works features delicate handicraft, which, of course, take longer time.

¡@¡@ I liked to wear traditional clothes and later I enjoyed making traditional clothes. Every work is just like my child and my love for them often make me hesitate to sell. As Paiwan people, we should have our own clothes. It is lucky to be a Paiwan child for you can wear the most beautiful clothes in the world. I am proud of making these beautiful clothes for you.
