The place of origin of Taiwan natives

RuvuaHan was the place of origin of Stone-born Puyuma natives and the landing site of the ancestors. The team was led by Mr. Ma to discover the tribal origin on November 16; there they recalled the songs and dances of the rituals.

New epigraph

The origin of Puyuma is divided in Stone-born and Bamboo-born, where Stone-born tribes included Katipol, Kasavakan, Rikavong, Tamalakao, Alipai, Vankiu, Basikao, and Bamboo-born tribes include Puyuma, Apapolo, and Pinasiki. Stone-born tribes hold firm belief that ruvuaHan is their place of origin.
For memorial of their ancestors' feat, Katipol built a monument engraved 'The Place of Origin of Taiwan Natives' and shrines in ruvuaHan in October 1960. They hoped their descendants could forever remember their origin and be proud of ruvuaHan. Today, a new monument is built in ruvuaHan for the same purpose: to remind the young generations of the origin, culture, and the wisdom of their ancestors, and to inspire them questing for greater lives for the tribes.
